One of the best loved and biggest events in Sussex – the South of England Show – will be given ‘paws for thought’ this year by the presence of cat welfare charity Cats Protection.

The charity will again have a stand at the popular event, held at the South of England Centre, Ardingly, between 6 and 8 June 2013.

Look out for the bright yellow Cats Protection gazebo and a van branded with a big tabby cat!

Stand visitors will be able to find out about supporting the charity’s work through, for example, adopting a cat, volunteering or signing up to one of its monthly giving schemes.

Staff will also be on hand to provide cat care advice and information, and a range of attractive merchandise for cats and humans alike will be available to purchase.

Emma Osborne, Cats Protection’s events manager, said: “We’re very much looking forward to meeting some of our local supporters and members at the South of England to say hello and a big thank you!

“The show is also a great opportunity to find homes for some of the hundreds of felines in our care in our branches and adoption centres across Sussex and Surrey.”
