LAMB weighing, a Chinese lion dance and cadet gun disassembling will be just some of the entertaining things to see at Peacehaven and Telscombe Summer Fair.
It will take place at Chatsworth Park in Telscombe on Saturday July 23 with arena events, a fairground and stalls.
The event will run from 12 noon to 5pm and will also feature a beer tent and food bar.
Visitors can look forward to displays from Harlequins Dance Studio, Southern Stomp Line Dancing and Meridian FC.
There will be a tug of war, martial arts display and birds of prey, as well as Newhaven Marching Band, children’s races and a bouncy castle.
Sponsorship for the event came from Southern Water, The House Project, Barratt Homes, HR Goodwin and Sons, Pama Signs, South Coast Glazing, Paul Insurance and the Peacehaven Times.
Telscombe Town Council thanked all the companies sponsoring the fair and those which donated raffle prizes.
There will be free parking in Chatsworth Park via central and Park Avenue.
A spokesperson for Telscombe Town Council said: “What we want to get across is that it is a traditional fair and a community event which is put on by the councils free for the community and with community organisations. There will be lots of free fun and lots for children.”
The fair was relaunched last year when it was held in Peacehaven.
This year it is Telscombe’s turn to host the event.
