Six residents will open their garden gates for the Macmillan Coastal Garden Trail on July 25 and 26 in Peacehaven.

Geoff Stonebanks, chair of the Driftwood Fundraising Group which organises the Macmillan Coastal Garden Trail, said full details of all gardens opening can be found on the trail website at www.macmillangardentrail.co.uk.

Alternatively, if you are interested in joining the group you can contact Geoff on 01323 899296 and get your own plot included in the trail this summer.

The coastal garden trail is to raise funds for the new Macmillan Cancer Centre in Brighton, due to be opened this autumn.

All monies raised, and Geoff has so far raised an amazing £23,700, will go towards it.

Christine Walkden, TV celebrity gardener, will open the trail at Geoff’s Seaford garden and hopefully tour some of the other gardens.
