Peacehaven man injured and three passengers fighting for their lives after collision in Brighton

A Peacehaven driver has suffered serious injuries after a collision in Brighton which left his three passengers with life threatening injuries, police said.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a taxi and car collided at Race Hill, Brighton.

Shortly after midnight today (Thursday November 27) a blue BMW 318L and a blue and white Skoda taxi collided in Warren Road, police said.

The 29-year-old man from Peacehaven who was driving the BMW suffered serious injuries. His three passengers - two men aged 19 and 22 and a woman aged 18 - all suffered life-threatening injuries, police said. All four were taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital for treatment, police said.

The 26-year-old man from Brighton driving the Skoda suffered minor injuries, police said.

Officers need to speak to anyone who saw the collision or who saw either of the vehicles being driven in the minutes beforehand.
