Pells Pool promises Mid Summer madness in Lewes

Spectacular finale: What will Phil 'The Fox' Rhodes manage this year?

The much anticipated annual Pells Pool Party fundraiser in aid of the Lewes venue and Starfish Youth Music explodes into action on Midsummer Night – Saturday, June 21.

Packed with a showcase of Starfish bands from 5pm, the evening event, starting at 7.30pm, promises to be bigger and better than ever.

Once again the highlight will be provided by that five-piece classic rock and psychedelic pop funk machine Tongue and Groove.

And, as usual, they are promising ‘Midsummer Madness’.

The finale of their set has always seen a breathtaking spectacular from their front man, Phil (The Fox) Rhodes, pictured singing Sex on Fire last year, in the heart of a magnificently-timed cacophony of fireworks created by the genius of Waterloo Bonfire Society.

Phil’s somersault into the pool topped off a perfect family night of bathing, barbecue, bar and top quality entertainment as the solstice sun went down.

The question that everyone is asking is – what will The Fox do this year? To find out, get your tickets from the Pells Pool itself or from Union Music Store, Lansdown Place.

A family (2+2) is £15, adult £6, child £3. But be quick as this event always sells out.

Elsewhere, the summer solstice is being celebrated with a Walks for Well-Being trek to the top of Wolstonbury Hill. Contact
