Petitions at fingertips

LEWES District residents wishing to raise an issue or have their views heard on a council matter can create and sign an e-petition online via the district council’s website.

This new facility means you can submit, manage and sign petitions electronically instead of, or alongside, a paper version. All you need is an email address and you must live, work or study in Lewes District.

Registering is easy and quick. Visit www.lewes.gov.uk/epetitions for more information.

You will find details of council’s Petitions Scheme, including what happens to the petition once it has been submitted. Once on the site you can view other live petitions.

E-petitions are an easy way for people to let the council know their concerns, to view local petitions and to gather names to support a petition.

For more information or if you have any questions about e-petitions please contact Rachel Allan, Scrutiny and Committee Officer on 01273 484174 or rachel.allan@lewes.gov.uk
