Piano and soprano at concert in St Michael’s Church in Lewes

The last recital in this year’s series of First Sunday Concerts will take place at St Michael’s Church in Lewes on Sunday December 7, at 3pm.

It will feature mezzo-soprano Louise Winter and pianist Nancy Cooley who will play French songs by Duparc and Fauré, Berg’s Seven Early Songs and a group of English songs by composers including Vaughan Williams.

It starts at 3pm. Admission is free and there is a retiring collection in aid of church repairs.

Louise has worked as a soloist at Glyndebourne and the Royal Opera House. Nancy specialises in songs and chamber music. She coaches singers at the Royal College of Music, works for Glyndebourne and Glyndebourne Education and teaches piano at Brighton College.
