Places available for the Undercliff Run from Saltdean to Brighton

PLACES are still up for grabs on the Rise 8k Undercliff Run for Women from Saltdean to Brighton Marina and back.

Ladies running the scenic course will be raising money for Brighton based domestic abuse charity Rise.

It starts at 10 am in Saltdean and is now in its fourth year.

In preparation for the event, RISE registered runners can also attend a free running forum at 5pm on Monday September 5 at Sweatshop Brighton, followed by a 5km run along Hove Lawns at 6.15pm.

Sweatshop are also supporting the Run with prizes for the first three places.

Patrick Davoren, store manager at Sweatshop Brighton is inviting all runners who have registered for the RISE 8K Undercliff Run for Women to come to the store on Saturday August 27, 2011, where they can receive a free gait analysis to help find the perfect pair of running shoes suited to their individual style of running, 30 day guarantee with the shoes and 16 weeks free online running advice with Adidas Full Potential.

The gait analysis is available to RISE registered runners from 10am–6pm, no booking is required.

Entry to the 8K Undercliff Run costs £15 or £19 with a RISE t-shirt.

This includes a goodie bag to the value of £20 with L’Oreal mascara or lip gloss, shampoo, conditioner, a Shock Absorber trolley coin and a range of other useful samples and goodies.

Every runner receives a medal at the finish line too.
