Play equipment to be installed in Peacehaven park soon

New equipment costing around £12,000 should be installed at a play area in Peacehaven within the next few weeks.

Peacehaven Town Council said there had been some issues with funding of the project in Epinay Park, off Roderick Avenue North, but that the equipment had now been ordered.

The council consulted with Meridian Community Primary School.

Town councillor Helen Livings said: “The pupils at the school were very understanding that the project had stalled, but we hope to have the whole project ready before the end of the summer term and the school children can then have their new equipment and their promised ice cream van and entertainers, to open the event.”
