WORK to stabilise the embankment behind the A27 at Bay Tree Lane in Polegate, East Sussex, will start this Monday, October 3, for eight weeks.
Work will be carried out between 7.30am and 5.30pm each day, with a 24 hour closure of a 370 metres section of Bay Tree Lane next to the embankment from Monday to Saturday.
One lane will open each Sunday to accommodate access to local events.
At all other times, a short diversion route will be in place via the A22 between Cophall Roundabout and the A295 Roundabout.
Access to Cophall Farm will be maintained throughout the work.
