A calendar showcasing photographs of Polegate is set to go on sale this week.
The calendar highlights images of the town and surrounding villages and every sale goes to St Wilfrid’s Hospice in Eastbourne.
Organiser Dan Dunbar said “This year’s calendar has again been very well supported, with the quality of images very high which has produced a great calendar to be sold for such a worthwhile charity.
“I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the people of Polegate for their ongoing support in making the Polegate calendar a success, especially my sponsors who have made the calendar possible.”
The calendar will be on sale from today (November 8). It costs £5 and can be purchased from Withers DIY, Archer and partners, Streeton News, The Hair Shop and the St Wilfrid’s charity shop in Polegate.
Calendars will also be available at the St Wilfrid’s craft fayre on Saturday November 16.
The fayre will run from 10am until noon.
Residents were asked to submit photographs taken in and around Polegate including buildings, scenery, local events and positive aspects of living and working in the area.
Judges looked for a new creative approach to well known Polegate and local landmarks and good technical ability.
The competition was open to all residents.
