A SIBLING TRIO have been awarded for their behind-the-scenes work supporting children suffering various forms of cancer.

Tyler, 13, and Zara Downton, 12, who go to school in Willingdon, and their eight-year-old sister Jess from Alfriston Primary School, have supported The Children with Cancer Fund, run by their parents Chris and Ursula Downton who live in Western Avenue, Polegate.

The trio were given a ‘Make a difference’ award at the ‘Child of Sussex Awards’ help at The Grand Hotel in Brighton at the end of September.

Children With Cancer Fund (CWCF) was set up in 1998 and the young Downtons have supported the cancer children by spending time with them, fundraising, and helping Chris and Ursula.
