Concern is growing for a 59-year-old man from Peacehaven who went missing on Wednesday May 22.
James Dobbie, of Fairlight Manor in Fairlight Avenue, was last seen at 10am at the care home in which he lives.
He left the address and has not been seen since, although he is known to have links to the Brighton area.
Sussex Police described James as white, 5ft 4ins tall, of slim build and with dark/grey messy hair.
He was wearing a black O’Neil coat, a grey cardigan, blue trouers and a black shoes. He also had a shaving cut to his top lip.
A police spokesperson said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of James, who may be in the Peacehaven or Brighton area.
“If anyone knows of his whereabouts, or thinks they may have seen him, then we would urge them to call police on 101 quoting serial 0359 of 22 May.”
