Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal crash in Hailsham last night (Tuesday, June 7).

Sussex Police say a 93-year-old man from Hailsham was driving a Suzuki Alton in Harmers Hay Road just before 11pm, when the vehicle left the road and collided with a bungalow.

He died at the scene. No other vehicles were involved and no one else was hurt.

Sergeant Clare Kenward said: “We would like to hear from anyone who may have seen this collision.”

Anyone with information is asked to email collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk or ring 101 quoting Operation Albury.
