PUMPKINS are a bit slimmer this year due to unsuitable weather but that hasn’t stopped the pumpkin carvers of Little Horsted.
Next weekend scores of parishioners’ ingenious Halloween creations will be displayed in St Michael’s and All Angels Church.
There are some remarkable ones - last year a show-stopper was a pumpkin carved with a reproduction of The Last Supper.
The church will be open from 6-9pm on Saturday and 6-9pm on Sunday, October 28-29.
Organisers say there is nothing spooky about their pumpkins – on show will be delightful sculptures and pictures every child (and grown-up) can enjoy.
