Rhos Male Voice Choir to perform in Seaford

A WORLD famous choir will sing in Seaford to raise funds for repairing and maintaining St Andrew’s Church in Bishopstone.

Rhos Male Voice Choir performed in the town last year and sold out.

The performance will be at St Leonard’s Church on Saturday June 11 at 7.30pm.

The award winning Rhos Male Voice Choir is from Rhosllannerchrugog (Rhos) in North Wales. It was formed in 1891 and is recognised as one of Wales’ foremost choirs.

They are frequently heard on Classic FM and have even appeared on TV, including performances with Bryn Terfel and Katherine Jenkins.

In addition they have sung with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.

Tickets cost £12 from Linda’s Store at Bishopstone Station and from Newberry’s Estate Agents in Seaford.

St Andrew’s Church is the oldest church in Sussex. It was built between 600AD and 800AD.
