Members of the Uckfield Housebound and Friendship Club enjoyed last Wednesday’s annual harvest tea and entertainment afternoon hosted by children from Rocks Park School.

Children from year six served them tea or coffee and they were then entertained with harvest festival songs from the school choir sung to a Samba beat.

Three members celebrated birthdays so the choir sang Happy Birthday to them. Sandwiches and delicious cakes made by the children were served. On behalf of the Housebound Club, Graham Russell thanked pupils, head teacher Chris Davey and teaching staff. The club meets twice a month for lunches and tea at various venues. Transport is provided door to door. To find out more contact Graham on: 01825 762065.
