The Save our Signal box campaign group will be holding a committee meeting at Polegate Town Hall tomorrow (Thursday September 19).
The group was formed to try and save the historic signal box on the railway line in Polegate which could be pulled down.
Network Rail wants to demolish the signal box building, and some others in the country, as part of a multi-million pound costcutting exercise.
The meeting will take place at 7:30pm.
The main agenda items are to approve and amend a document to be presented to Network Rail setting out the group’s aims and objectives after the box is decommissioned in November or December.
It will also detail the approaches that need to be made for necessary fund raising.
Interested members of the public are welcome to attend.
