The big outdoor screen enjoyed by many at the Tour of Britain celebrations could return to Seaford next year.
Organiser Seaford Community Cinema said it was keen to run an outdoor screening during the school holidays.
The screening of the Lego Movie was a sell out and proved extremely popular.
Community cinema spokesperson Christine Richardson said: “We sold 500 tickets, a sell out basically thanks to the weather.
“It was exciting to be involved and good experience for us to do a larger event.
“It was a lot of work but some members of the public thanked us on the day and others have left messages on our Facebook page.
“Because the screen is so expensive to hire there was no way we could have done this without the enthusiasm of Ben King at Seaford Town Council.
“It would be lovely to do this again in the school holidays next year perhaps.”
