The loss of physiotherapy services in Seaford prompted a series of calls for action at Seaford Seniors Forum this week.
Members of the group were urged to join the Seaford Health March on Saturday April 13 to demand improved health services in the town.
Speaker after speaker expressed concern that physiotherapy was no longer available at Seaford Day Hospital during the forum’s annual general meeting on Monday April 8 at Seaford Baptist Church.
They also complained that health services in Seaford were getting worse rather than better.
The march will start from Seaford War Memorial at 11am and make its way down Broad Street and High Street, arriving at the Day Hospital around 11.30am.
Speakers will include Seaford MP Norman Baker, Jon Freeman of the Seniors’ Forum and Ralph Taylor of CASH, the Campaign for Action on Seaford Health.
The march is being organised by Seaford district councillor Sam Adeniji.
