Seaford stabbing victim in serious but stable condition

A NEWHAVEN man charged with wounding with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm appeared in Brighton Magistrate’s Court today (Monday March 21).

He was arrested along with two teenage boys on Saturday March 19 on suspicion of aggravated burglary.

Sussex Police were called to a property in Avondale Road, Seaford at around 4.40am to reports of a 42-year-old man who had been stabbed in the chest.

The 13-year-old and 14-year-old both from Seaford, have been bailed until May 14 pending further enquiries.

Police are appealing for any information about the incident.

The 42-year-old victim remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
