Searchlight gets a helping hand from Seahaven Lionesses

SEAHAVEN Lionesses were delighted to donate £500 to Searchlight in Newhaven for its Bright Lights Appeal.

The money was raised by the group from various events held throughout the year and supported by the community.

Robert Stevenson from Searchlight attended the Lionesses November meeting and outlined plans to raise £1m to refurbish one of the three care homes that the charity runs. Searchlight in Mountpleasant offers residential, day care and a respite care centre for 42 residents both men and women, whose ages range from 28 to 82 years and who have physical and learning disabilities.
