A TEAM of 16 thrill seekers from Hailsham-based company, Chalvington Group took to the skies to raise money for their Charity of the year SASBAH on Sunday, April 22.
The group included staff, family and friends enjoying the adrenaline rush of what was a first tandem sky dive for all.
They raised an astonishing sum of £5,000 for the Gun Hill based organisation.
Claire Baker, operations director, said the sky dive was ‘amazing, totally amazing’.
She added: “Many of us had wanted to do this for some time now, and some have conquered some fairly serious fears of heights in the process! To have raised the sum we have – currently almost £5,000 is just fantastic.
“Everyone has worked so hard to achieve their target, and we are incredibly proud of our team.
“With donations still being received we have high hopes for the end total.
“As our charity of the year, SASBAH has opened our eyes to the difficulties faced by those with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus, and have welcomed us with open arms.
The work they do is astonishing and we hope to raise plenty more for them over the coming months”.
