THE 16th South Downs Beer and Cider Festival will be staged at Lewes Town Hall on June 15 and 16.
“The only growth sector of the beer market is real ale and to cope with the usual big demand there will be nearly 70 beers on sale this year,” says Peter Coppard, Festival Organiser.
There will also be a large selection of ciders, perries, bottled beers and country wines. Hot food will be available at all times.
Tickets cost £3 for the Friday lunchtime (11am-3pm); £6 for Friday night (5pm-10.30pm); £4.50 Saturday lunchtime and free after 5pm on Saturday evening.
Tickets are available from South Downs Beer and Cider Festival, 139 Elm Grove, Brighton BN2 3ES. Please state which session the tickets are for and enclose a SAE. Cheques should be made payable to “Brighton and South Downs CAMRA”.
