Specsavers staff getting into the Comic Relief spirit

Staff at Specsavers in Hastings are taking part in Comic Relief today (Friday).

Visitors to the shop in Priory Meadow Shopping Centre, can follow in the footsteps of Gok Wan and make their faces funny for money with Specsavers’ official Red Nose Day glasses in small and large sizes, for just £3 with £1 donated to Comic Relief.

Rob Lofting, Hastings store director, said: “We want to make this year’s Red Nose Day as fun as possible.

“Staff will be making their faces funny for money and encouraging our communities to do the same by buying their very own Red Nose Day glasses. Comic Relief does fantastic work and we’re keen to support this with our fundraising.”

Store manager Iain Gillies is getting into the Red Nose Day spirit by having his beard dyed red in store today. Staff will also be donning their best red attire for the occasion, to further raise donations.

Specsavers in Hastings has joined Specsavers stores nationwide to support Comic Relief to help poor and vulnerable people living tough lives in the UK and across Africa.

From painting their faces to donning the Specsavers funny specs millions of people up and down the country will be making their faces funny and raising life-changing cash.
