FAMILIES can spend a night at Newhaven Fort with special spooky activities and a screening of Hollywood blockbuster Night at the Museum starring Ben Stiller.
The sleepover takes place on Saturday August 6, including an eerie tour of the fort, where visitors will explore the casemates, passageways and dark echoing tunnels, with an expert guide.
They will also learn what life was like for soldiers living in the Victorian fortress.
During the evening children will have the unique opportunity to take part in a workshop and create a short animated film, which will be previewed before Night at the Museum.
After enjoying a barbecue, families will be tucked up in the World War Two Romney Hut for the night and will receive breakfast and goodie bag, complete with a DVD of their animated film, in the morning.
Spaces are limited.
Tickets cost £45 each and must be booked in advance by calling 01273 517622.
Children must be aged eight to 14 and accompanied by an adult. Visit www.newhavenfort.org.uk
