TWO MORE people have been arrested on suspicion of murdering tragic stab victim Darren Croxton (pictured).

The duo, aged 17 and 19 were arrested by police yesterday, January 24.

A total of four people are now being held in custody in connection with Mr Croxton’s death. The other two arrested suspects are 16-year-old boys.

Eight other people including teenagers were released by police yesterday with no further action taken.

Post mortem results have shown that Mr Croxton died of more than one stab wound to the lower part of his body.

The knife was more than 4in long and specially trained blood sniffing dogs from Surrey are helping police find the weapon.

Mr Croxton, aged 25, tragically died in hospital on Monday (January 23) after an alleged pre-planned fight in woods near Bramble Drive in Hailsham.

He was found collapsed in the road on Sunday and rushed to Royal Sussex County Hospital where he sadly died the next morning, around 7.20am.

Police want people to come forward who were in the Bramble Drive and Diplock Estate areas of Hailsham on Sunday.

Anyone who witnessed suspicious activity phone 101 quoting Op Consul or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
