Study day at Newhaven Fort to raise money for blind veterans

A study day themed around ‘Generations of Warfare’ will raise money for the Blind Veterans Association.

It will take place at Newhaven Fort on Saturday May 25 and feature illustrated talks from expert speakers.

The event is being organised by Sussex Military History Society.

Speakers will include Geoff Bridger on The Battle of Neuve Chapelle, Major Freddy Hunn on Dunkirk; May to June 1940,

Ed Tyhurst with a tour of Newhaven Fort, Roy Taylor on Early Cold War RAF Radar Stations, Kevin MacDonald with Falkland War – Tales of the Grey Ghost.

All the speakers are donating their time free of charge and all proceeds will go to the Blind Veterans UK charity.

Admission is £15 per person by advance ticket only. Seating is limited to 80 people.
