IT’S time to ‘get ready, get set and get going’ during the holidays with a bumper programme of activities for young people in Peacehaven.

The Peacehaven Summer Holiday Activities Programme, co-ordinated by Peacehaven Leisure Centre, runs from July 23 until September 4, giving youngsters aged seven to 16 the chance to try football and sports days at Peacehaven & Telscombe FC with a UEFA coach; a Sports Camp at PCS; regular Zumba classes, junior circuits and roller discos at Peacehaven Leisure Centre and training sessions in Meridian Park on the new outdoor gym.

East Sussex’s Youth Service will provide health and information sessions at the skatepark and run weekly youth clubs, job clubs and Music Mondays at the Joff.

East Sussex Libraries are running a Summer Reading Challenge. Visit Peacehaven Library to get more details.

Peacehaven Town Council, the Big Parks Project and Wave Leisure have co-sponsored the programme.

The programme will be available from the Leisure Centre, town council offices or at www.waveleisure.org.uk, www.peacehaventowncouncil.co.uk or www.bigparksproject.org.uk.
