THE WOODS at Buchan Country Park in Crawley were the venue for the March ramble of Sussex Roamability.
The group, which was founded in Seaford, provides rambles for both disabled and able bodied people to enable them to enjoy the countryside.
Sussexromability spokesperson Sheila Matthews said: “The paths are broad and firm through these pretty woods.
“With the sun streaming through the trees, certainly spring had come. There is plenty of interest in Buchan.
“Wooden sculptures are artistically placed in the woods and the carved bench seat is a wonder.
“With a lake, brooks and a variety of trees wildlife is plentiful.
“The bird song was a joy, along with the butterflies.”
