A FREE talk and training session about a special therapy called the Bowen Technique will take place in Telscombe.
The treatment is a series of light moves over muscle, performed with thumbs and fingers, where the therapist applies slight pressure and then makes a rolling move over the area at precise points on the body.
In between each set of moves, the client is left for a few minutes to quietly rest, to allow time to relax and respond to the gentle work.
The Bowen Technique acts as a catalyst, triggering the body to repair, readjust and rebalance without the need for force or manipulation.
There are no oils, it doesn’t hurt and it can even take place through light clothing.
The free talk will take place at the Civic Centre in South Coast Road Thursday March 24 from 7.30pm to 9pm and will be delivered by experienced Bowen Technique practitioner Julian Baker.
