MEECHING Amateur Dramatics Society is staging a modern and refreshing farce by new writer Anthony Neilson.
The Lying Kind draws together many different facets of comedy under one umbrella: silly, visual, mime, slapstick, a very funny script and the old chestnut of trouser dropping.
Put all this together, centre it around the antics of two inept police constables, add a vicar and Chihuahua, throw in a striptease and you have an extremely funny evening’s entertainment not to be missed.
The Lying Kind by Anthony Neilson will be performed at Meeching Hall, Fort Road, Newhaven, each evening between Wednesday May 18 and Saturday May 21 at 7.45pm.
Tickets cost £8 from Meeching Estate Agents, High Street, or by calling 01273 515566.
The play does contain adult content and is therefore not suitable for those under 16 years.
