Toddler injured in car collision at Stone Cross

A TODDLER was hit by a car and injured while crossing a road in Stone Cross near Pevensey.

The collision happened at the junction of Adur Drive and Tillingham Way, at 3.30pm on January 10.

Police said the three-year-old girl was crossing the road with two women, both aged 34, from Pevensey.

A silver Lexus RX300 collided with the little girl, causing bruising to her head and shoulder.

The 69-year-old man from Eastbourne who drove the Lexus is helping police with their enquiries.
