Students at Hailsham Community College got dressed to the nines to say a formal goodbye to their school years.
The Year 11 prom took place at Wellshurst Golf Club on June 26 and was attended by more than 130 students and members of staff.
The students maintained tradition by arriving at Wellshurst in a variety of methods of transport which included a tractor, a range of vintage cars and sports cars, and a spectacular escort of Harley-Davidson motor bikes.
There were large numbers of parents and friends at Wellshurst to see them arrive and the students looked stunning, dressed in spectacular dresses and dinner suits.
The prom took the form of a non-alcoholic Bucks Fizz reception, a formal three-course, waiter-served meal, followed by dancing until midnight.
Richard Miller, the staff prom co-ordinator, said: “All the guests and staff commented on how much they had enjoyed the event.
“The students, as always, were impeccably behaved and a real credit to the college. We now wish them all well for their GCSE results later in the summer and look forward to welcoming many students into the college Sixth Form in September.”
