THE CAMPAIGN led by residents angry about plans to develop farmland in Hailsham continues this week.

Wealden District Council has deferred making a decision on the application by WE Vine Trust to build 35 homes at Ersham Farm, until a meeting on August 16.

But residents, who attended the last planning committee south meeting to express their disgust at the proposal, want to keep the spotlight on the planning application.

His ‘red tractor’ T shirt depicts the ‘farm assured’ produce quality standard. Ersham Farm has this farm assured status.
