Delays were caused to Southern trains between Uckfield and Crowborough this morning (Friday April 19) after a vehicle struck a bridge at Buxted at 7am.
This meant that all Southern trains were at a stand still between Uckfield and Crowborough.
At 7.30am trains started running again once the all-clear had been given.
During this time, trains between Uckfield and London Bridge started and terminated at Crowborough.
Replacement buses were ordered, but trains started running again before the buses arrived.
At around 7.50am they were running normally again.
