Cowbeech pensioner dies three days after collision

A pensioner from Cowbeech who was involved in a two car collision in Cowden has died of her injuries.

Rose Blanshard, 92, of Cowbeech, was driving a blue Honda Jazz which was in collision with a Citroen Saxo in Colestock Cross, Cowden, just before 2pm on Wednesday August 21.

She was taken to hospital suffering from serious injuries but died on Saturday.

A 12-year-old girl in the Jazz suffered cuts, bruises and a jaw injury.

A 15-year-old girl in the car suffered grazes.

The 18-year-old driver of the Saxo, from Kent, suffered a broken wrist.

His 14-year-old male passenger suffered internal bruising.
