Detectives investigating a series of courier fraud thefts have charged two men with offences allegedly committed in the local area and Suffolk.

Jameel Gabbidon, 23, from South Croydon, has been charged with conspiracy to commit fraud by false representation.

The charge states namely claiming to be a bank to obtain cards and pin numbers, intending to make a gain, namely obtain cash and goods in connection with an alleged offence in St Leonards yesterday (April 2).

Jason Pindi, 29, from Godalming, Surrey has been charged with three counts of conspiracy to commit fraud by false representation.

The charge states namely claiming to be a bank to obtain cards and pin numbers, intending to make a gain, namely obtain cash and goods, in connection with alleged offences in St Leonards on Thursday, April 2, Hastings on February 13 and Ipswich between February 5 and 8.

Both men were arrested in Godalming in Surrey yesterday (Thursday, April 2).

They have been remanded in custody to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Saturday, April 4).
