Police are warning Seaford residents to be on their guard following two house burglaries in the town.
The first was to a property in Chyngton Road between February 10 and February 15, where entry was gained after forcing open a patio door.
The second offence occurred to a property in Chyngton Way between February 28 and March 2, where a rear ground floor window was forced open.
Police are currently linking these offences because of their proximity.
Sergeant Stuart Mullins said: “Both of these offences took place while the owners were away for a few days and yet again, I’d like to advise residents that if they are going away, to review their security and have someone check on the property regularly.
“We are warning all Seaford residents to be careful and to report any suspicious activity but especially those who live in the area around the two recent burglaries.”
Anyone with information about the incidents should contact police by calling 101.
