THE Class of 2007 at Uckfield Community College arrived in style to their Year 11 prom.
They came in limousines, classic cars, a vintage fire engine, a miniature pony and trap and even a tandem bicycle.
After a formal dinner, there was a ceremony with awards, for example, for the student most likely to be Prime Minister, and then they danced long into the night.
College principal Hugh Hennebry, said: “They are an exceptionally bright year group and it was with great pride that our staff and students celebrated their achievements over the last five years at our College.
“It was heartwarming to hear how grateful the students were for the incredible amount of support they received from their teachers and support staff.
“Most of them will stay on in our Sixth Form and we wish all of the Class of 2007 every happiness in the future.”
