AN UCKFIELD MAN has pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving and using a motor vehicle without third party insurance.

Lee Fisher, aged 20, of Lashbrooks Road, Uckfield, appeared at a plea and case management hearing at Lewes Crown Court on Friday (March 9).

At around 10pm on July 15 last year, police and other emergency services were called to a two vehicle collision on the A272 at Hadlow Down.

The collision involved a black Ford driven by Lee Fisher and a silver Vauxhall.

The 63-year-old driver of the Vauxhall received serious injuries and 19-year-old Paul Hulse, who was a passenger in the Ford, died as a result of his injuries.

Fisher will be sentenced at Lewes Crown Court on April 10.
