Fresh seafood and locally produced wine took centre stage over the weekend at the Hastings Seafood and Wine Festival.
Thousands flocked to the old town over the two-day event, which took place on the Stade Open Space, just a stone’s throw from the sea.
Food producers from the 1066 area and further afield in Sussex offered samples of their food and drink.
Celebrity chef Jean-Christophe Novelli gave six cookery demonstrations over the two days using local produce and held a Q&A session after each demonstration.
Coinciding with the festival, at the adjacent Jerwood Gallery, was an exhibition of around 1,000 pieces of artwork by local primary school children.
