Walk through Lewes town centre and you might feel there is a slight lack of Christmas spirit in the form of decorations.
As this video shows, there is a tree with white lights at the war memorial and the Town Hall has some icicle lights hanging from it.
Apart from some shops providing their own window displays and icicles, it’s a gloomy walk down the High Street to another tree at the start of the pedestrianised area.
Nothing again until you reach the Lewes festive highlight - Harveys shop in Cliffe High Street is bedecked with lights and mini Christmas trees.
The shop also has a banner going across the street wishing shoppers peace and goodwill.
