Lewes Bonfire update

Waiting for Video...

Sussex Police said more than 20,00 people have so far come into Lewes by train.

Despite Lewes Bonfire taking place on a Monday, the streets are still busy.

It is a cold Bonfire with temperatures forecast to drop to 2C later this evening.

A 20-year-old woman has been hit in the face with a firework in Westage Street.

An ambulance is understood to be on the scene.

The Sussex Express team has been out in force taking photos, tweeting and filming.

There will be more on our website tomorrow, but for now here’s a video clip of the parade.
