Video: Motorcyclist suffers serious injuries in Lewes collision on A26

Police were called to a serious collision between a motorbike and a car on the A26 at Clayhill near Lewes today (Friday July 25) at 12.30pm.

The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, where his condition was “stable”.

The A26 Lewes-Uckfield road was closed to traffic while emergency services were at the scene. It was re-opened at 4.15pm.
