COFFEE MORNING: There will be no last Friday of the month Bishopstone Coffee Morning in April: the next one will be on Friday, May 27.

VILLAGE MAY FAIR: Is on Saturday, April 30, from noon to 4pm on the Village Green. Please help by donating cakes, bric-a-brac, craft items (wool, needles, patterns), mugs, books and plants. Items can be left at Linda’s Stores, Eadric House or 96, Hurdis Road.

FREE HORSE MANURE: Is still available on west (Newhaven) side of Bishopstone Road between Bishopstone Estate and Bishopstone Pond: help yourself, but please return or replace the bags.

THANKS: Thanks to all who donated to the charity of their choice through the Lent Boxes: £50.40 was raised for Family Support Work, £114.22 for the Additional Curates Society and £38.41 for the Children’s Society; Maria’s farewell collection came to £120, cheque and card on the way.
