CRAFTY YARNS: Is on Wednesday, from 2pm to 4pm in Bishopstone Parish Hall. A group created for pursuing your favourite craft in the company of others, or just come for a cup of tea. Cost per session £2.

BEACH CLEAN: Tide Mills Community Beach Clean is on Sunday from 10am to noon. Meet at the beach end of Mill Drove (off the A259). Come along, grab a bag and a litter picker, and help clean up the area for visitors and the local wildlife.

MAY FAIR: The event raised £2,600, all proceeds will go towards the upkeep of Bishopstone Parish Hall. The organizers should like to thank the Co-op, Princess Drive, for supplying the Fair Trade coffee, tea, sugar and milk The following businesses also donated to the event: Rowland Gorringe Estate Agents, Jermyn’s, Paradise Park, Michelham Priory, Eastbourne Theatres, Morrison’s, Sainsbury’s, Ice Cream Charlie and Bulbalicious.

We also thank the volunteers for their hard work, everyone who donated items for sale, and the public for coming, without you all we wouldn’t have had such a successful day.
