Ditchling Film Society: The May film on Thursday 19 is the Argentine- Spanish black comedy Wild Tales. Written and directed by Damian Szifron this film is composed of six one act vignettes, most of which double as revenge stories. A waitress recognises a customer from her past. A rich man covers up his son's crime. A bride and groom fall out at their wedding. From its shocking start to its equally startling finish, Wild Tales explores an often unsettling but funny look at human behaviour in extremis. 122 mins. 15 Cert. The film on Thursday 2 June is The Wonders. All films are shown in Ditchling Village Hall, Lewes Road, Ditchling BN6 8TT. Free coffee and biscuits beforehand and wine can be purchased by the glass. There is ample free parking behind the hall. Guests and temporary members are welcome. £5.00 payable on the door.
