HEALTHY WALKS: The Doctors at HIHC are working with the Green Open Spaces Project and the Rangers from the South Downs in creating a health walk in Herstmonceux. The walks leave from the Health Centre with a doctor and a ranger for an hours walk and talk on health, vitality and the benefits of being out in nature followed by a cup of tea, talks and workshops in the great space on your return to the health centre. The project lead, Chris Sculthorpe, runs similar projects across East Sussex but this is the first combined with a GP, if you would like further information or would like to sign up to the walks, please contact Bea on 01323 833535.

VITALITY VILLAGE SINGERS: The Vitality Village Singers meet at the Health Centre every Wednesday night from 7pm to 8.30pm, this wonderful, friendly choir gave their first performance at the WI AGM and are due to perform in July at Lime Cross Nursery. SUMMER PROGRAMME: Free plant workshops, every first Sunday of the month at Lime Cross Nursery 11.30am or 2.30pm, 30 to 45 minutes per workshop. July 3, Keeping the Colour in your Garden. Go along for the National Garden Scheme weekend for a demonstration on how to plant up and maintain your borders and pots and keep the colour in your garden in the summer months. WELLBEING BY THE LAKE: Saturday July 23, 10am to 6pm, £90 at Lime Cross Nursery. Balancing Your Chakras: a day of yoga, tai chi, wild swimming and relaxing by the private lakeside at Lime Cross, with the opportunity for a mini head massage. WALKING GROUP: On Sunday meet Andy and Karen (833040) at Herstmonceux car park for the Bodiam circular. There has been a change of programme for Tuesday which is now from The Cricketers at Berwick at 6.30pm, led by Lita (846191) for a Downland walk with optional drink afterwards to help Trudy celebrate her birthday and also on Tuesday 21 June will be the Wilmington circular walk of approximately four miles with Sheila, Rosie (842786) and Carol.
