GARDEN VISITS: Peacehaven Open Gardens will be held on June 25 and 26 from 2pm to 6pm. Tickets £4 each which covers all gardens on both days. For further info please contact Alison on 01273589502.

COFFEE MORNINGS: This week will be organised by: Monday and Wednesday, Sussex Pet Rescue, Tuesday Lyn Mills, Thursday Wendy Veck and Friday March 13 Evangelical Church.

COMMUNITY CAFÉ: Now open six mornings in the foyer, Community House, Meridian Centre. Tea, coffee, egg, bacon, sausage sandwiches and cooked breakfasts available. Run by local charities. Monday and Wednesday morning the community café is organised by Sussex Pet Rescue.

KNOW DEMENTIA: Memory moments café. Everyone welcome, especially those with memory problems and their family supporter. Every Friday from 10am to 1pm, Anzac Room, Community House. Meridian Centre.

THE DELL: John Lawson Circus will be on The Dell from May 5 to May 8. Further details from the Information Office.

HISTORIC PROJECTION RE-RUN: If you missed the event on the lower promenade on April 23, here is your opportunity to see the fantastic production by Julia Winckler at The Church of the Ascension, Bramber Avenue at 7.30pm tonight (Friday).

COUNCIL MEETING: On Tuesday there is a planning meeting in the Anzac Room at 7.30pm.

CINEMA: Wednesday May 18 at 7.30pm, the film Room will be showing at Community House. Tickets £5 from the Information Office.

MERIDIAN EVENING WI: Have celebrated their 33rd anniversary and the 90th birthday of HM the Queen with a social evening which included a buffet supper provided by members. Members rose to the occasion by wearing red, white and blue and there were also tiara’s for some. Our joint president, Norma Smith, proposed the Loyal Toast. Our next meeting is on May 25 in the Anzac Room at 7.15pm for 7.30pm when we will be discussing proposed resolutions to be put forward to the national AGM. New members are always welcome.
